At this level, children learn the game through curiosity, fun, and plenty of ball touches. Players practice basic skills while beginning to take ownership by helping with equipment and making their own simple choices on the pitch.
Players begin to understand the game by learning spacing, support, and basic tactics. They start leading warmups and talking through problems to explain what they see on the field.
Athletes at this stage lead the game by solving tactical problems independently and directing team huddles. Our players take charge of team standards while mentoring younger peers to foster a culture of collective responsibility.
Players take ownership in our internal league by organizing teams, choosing formations, and managing the game. A Select Team is also chosen from the league to represent Midwestern United against outside opponents. Adults provide structure, safety, and support while players lead the game.
We are building a lifelong pathway that will eventually include U23, adult leagues, and 40+ divisions to keep our community on the pitch for years. Our vision is to ensure every family has a permanent home for soccer, creating a legacy where your child can truly play for life.
The Ownership Model
We believe in teaching the game, then giving it back to the players. Our athletes grow from U10 to our current top level in High School, where they take full ownership of their teams and learn true responsibility within a joyful community. As our ecosystem expands, we look forward to adding U23 and adult leagues to ensure every player has a lifelong home on the pitch.
